Bill was brought up in Leeds and Liverpool, trained at West Midlands College and worked at the Birmingham Rep and Pebble Mill TV Centre. Then followed many years as music, arts and news presenter for the BBC and Independent Radio along with a busy voiceovers career. Most of his current work is on stage, television and radio.
